Operation Airboat Four
Let's not forget about "Operation Airboat 2009". Has anyone taken charge of this part of the Ride/Day? Haven't seen much lately on the site about it and thought it's worth being brought up again. These guys overseas need all the support we can give them and it looks like the Shootout could be a great time to get things for them. It's only a few weeks away and thought we might need to bring it back up and get something more going on it.

Operation Airboat Four - 2009
As some of you all know - Operation Airboat is special for Sharon and me. Our son, Bob, was in Iraq last year at this time and his troop was sent over several boxes from this operation. The guys over there were extremely appreciative. Our son is now "home" in the US along with his troop, but there are an awful lot of our brothers and sisters still overseas. He has told us how much his troop appreciated the support that was shown to him by this event and others. He has told us anything that is non-perishable, (pepperoni, crackers, snacks, cheese - that doesn't have to be refrigerated, microwavables, gum, candy, cookies, deodorant, toothbrushes & paste, use your imagination, as long as it isn't perishable - I would go through the store and just fill up a box of non-perishable items, magazines).
Everyone lets show these fine guys and gals how much we appreciate what they do for us and our freedom.
Sharon & I will be at Loughman's Thursday - Sunday. Look us up! Most of you know we live in North Carolina and can't wait to get back to Florida.
Buckshot Bob.
