Spring Fling at Loughmans Lodge 4-10,11 & 12

Alright Gang Party on pack you sunscreen we are going to loughmans for easter on April 10,11 & 12 (easter) camping, rv, crawfish and more at Loughmans.

We have dropped the withalocee idea for now.

Even riding at Loughman's come April may be difficult if we don't get a significant amount of rain by then. It was already pretty low last Saturday over there and a lot of boats were getting stuck getting to Loughmans. Really nothing to ride at this point, but the river. Camping wise you have the Loughman area that's nice.
We rode Lake George the day after Loughmans ride last weekend and it was really nice. The water is perfect right now and you have several different locations to visit there. You have Juniper Springs, Silver Glen, Salt Springs, Salt Cove, and from there you can ride to the biker bar, Porkies, that airboats can pull up to for lunch/dinner. Good food. Then from there you can continue around the other side of the lake which is a really nice ride going to the 9 mile point, Car Seat, and the Cow pasture, which could be used as camping grounds if you'd like. Also camping wise you have the river banks leading up to Juniper or Salt Springs has oak hammocks going along for 3 miles. So it'd definitely be a nice area to ride for a weekend. And you have Blue Creek lodge road to launch from, Salt Springs boat ramp, or Volusia Bar.

the last time i had my boat at Silver Glen Springs the Lake County cops and GFC was having a field day with airboats and other boaters not saying all were ticketed but i dont want the hassle of the cops and it is deep water running.

We are trying to find a place you can drive up to to camp, party & ride from one spot. For the ones who did not camp at Milk Bus at Howl iin the Moon the friday before was a blast. but the tranporting all the equipement back and forth to Camp Mack was alot of work. So I am sure we will have to have a little give & take to find a place that wants us to be there.

Post up that is what the thread is for all ideas welcomed and the Club will vote on meeting in Febuary & by email also.

Thanks for the post more input is needed so lets see what happens

Great News talked to the people at loughmans and they said bring it on She really did not think we could have a 100 boats so lets prove her right and have a 150 Be more details as we go along and we will want to post flyers up at all the local airboat hotspots as soon as Dusty works his magic on a design so feel free to get with me and help spread the word.

It will be on the same format as Howl at the Moon, party on friday & ride, party eat & ride on Sat & Sunday if those big bad race boats are not too scared of our ride boats maybe they will come up and give us a show.

Witchy will be handling the food so pm, her if you want to bring something
Stress Relief is coming and crawfish will be in so the main course dinner Sat night will be crawfish fresh from LA.
Jolly will be on the sounds
Dusty will have the shirts and they will be on our website for purchase to offset the cost of the crawfish and other goodies

Hey everyone..this is Rich out at Loughman,well i just got off the phone with Wayne and it looks like this one is in the bag...we are currently working out some package deals for camping/breakfast combo maybe fire up the large smoker and do a full on BBQ or???...any ideas are welcome,we can and will roll with just about anything you guys can dream up!any ideas should be routed through Wayne and he can e-mail me from there.
As for Seminoles concern for Easter...I have just made arrangements this year to be open and i will have a full staff to serve breakfast and lunch for you guys.For your Crawfish cookout i have tables and chairs at your disposal and maybe a few other things on hand that may help.
As soon as we have some packages set up and ok"d by wayne and the owners I will post them up well in advance so you can start reserving sites(except cabin 3 because as we all know Buckshot always reserves it a year in advance )!
We are looking forward to working with you guys at CFASC and helping to make youre event a total success...Looking forward to meeting you guys and having a great time

I am sure as the drought goes on that unless we get some rain going to br real dry down at Loughmans, so we will have to know that. Couple of us will go down and check it out soon.
